Happy 1st Birthday Little Kaisyn Man!

Kaisyn's 1st birthday ended up being really fun.
He definitely got spoiled and was a pro at opening presents by the end of the day.
He got lot's of fun toys, some clothes, and some cool trucks
(which he is REALLY into right now).
His party ended up being really fun too...despite the change of plans.
We wanted to have a BBQ at a park but the weather didn't cooperate
and it was cold and rainy, so we moved the party to Hungry Bear Pizza.
The best part of the whole day?
Watching Kaisyn dig into his birthday cake...
He LOVED it and had so much fun making a huge mess!
Thank you to everyone who came and for the sweet gifts. You all helped make Kaisyn's 1st birthday a memorable one.

Kaisyn's 1st Easter

Kaisyn didn't have quite as much fun as his big sister, but he seemed to really enjoy picking up Easter Eggs and emptying out his Easter Basket. He was such a handsome little man in his Easter shirt & tie...I just wish I could have gotten a good picture of him and Skylee. She was either being silly, or he was crying...oh well. Oh, and watch the video of the "game" Kaisyn discovered with the Easter Eggs...it's cute!

11 Months Old

Can you believe that in a couple weeks Kaisyn will be 1 ?!?! I can't!! My baby boy isn't a baby anymore. He's turning into a handsome little boy. He's crawling like crazy, and starting to pull himself up to standing. He's so busy he's losing some babyfat and starting to thin out. He's understanding more and more, and is trying so hard to spit that first word out (which I think is already dada). He can almost say ball too, and if you tell him to go get the ball he will. Kaisyn loves his big sister and loves to laugh with her and chase her. It's so fun to watch them play (as long as Skylee is playing nice), and they make me laugh every day. He finally had his first (and only) tooth pop through, and he survived a serious 2 week battle with Croup, which wasn't fun for anybody. I can't believe that a year ago I was huge and fat and wishing every day that Kaisyn would get here...and now my little buddy is almost 1! How time flies!

Surf & Swim

Kaisyn's experience at Surf & Swim wasn't as joyful as Skylee's. He did not love it at all. He was scared of the water at first and cried, then when he was finally in the water he was cold. He was shivering so hard we gave up and he spent most his time wrapped up in a cozy towel. Oh well...it was still a fun night!

Fun at Chuck E Cheese

Kaisyn had fun at Jett's birthday party too! He loved the music and sat in his high chair and danced pretty much the whole time...and he even got to ride on a couple little rides. It was so cute, and he thought he was pretty cool driving the red car...see the video below!
