4 Months Old

Kaisyn is now 4 months old and already weighs more than what Skylee weighed when she turned 1 (she weighed 17.5 pounds). He weighs 18 pounds (95 percentile) and is 27 inches long (99 percentile...but the chart only goes to 99% or else he would be off the chart). He is babbling and squealing like crazy and smiles all the time. He is so happy and content and loves to watch his big sister be silly. He is rolling onto his side now, and is working really hard to roll all the way over. He has turned into a pro thumb sucker, which we aren't really pleased about and try to pull it out whenever we see him sucking it (but sometimes mommy gives in). He is really getting good at using his hands now and is reaching and grabbing for everything. I can't believe how fast he is growing and changing and I am so thankful for how happy and healthy he is. Oh, and I think he's going to keep his big blues...they have only gotten bluer. Yay!!!!

Kaisyn's 1st Concert (outside of mommy's tummy)

We went to the Jack Johnson concert last week, which was Kaisyn's 1st concert since he has been born (we went to Dave Matthews last summer while he was in my tummy). I was a little nervous taking him, but he did really good. He just sat and watched all the people and enjoyed the music, which ended up putting him to sleep.

A Day at the Dinosaur Park

Kaisyn did pretty good at the Dinosaur Park. He mostly just slept, but when he was awake he seemed to be happy to be outside with so many people around.

Kaisyn's 1st Haircut

We decided to give Kaisyn a haircut because he was rubbing bald spots on the sides and back of his head. So we went in the garage and Justyn buzzed the sides and back, and trimmed the top. It looks so much better now!

Davis Fair Baby Contest

We thought it would be fun to enter Skylee and Kaisyn (see Skylee's blog for her pictures) into the baby contest at the Davis County Fair. Neither of them won 1st place, but they both got a certificate and a ribbon. It was fun and they both looked so cute. Notice Kaisyn and Daddy's matching outfits...they for sure should have won (especially since Justyn was the only daddy that took their baby up on stage...what a great dad!).

Big Blue Eyes

Kaisyn's eyes are still pretty and blue. Here is a good shot of his big blues. This picture reminds me of a picture of Skylee at Haylee's wedding...except Skylee is 1 and Kaisyn is only 3 months here.

Dr. Kaisyn

Kaisyn got these cute baby scrubs from his Aunt Haylee. Thanks Haylee...he looks like such a little Dr. in them!

Preppy in Pink

Justyn picked out this pink polo for Kaisyn before he was even born. Doesn't he look so preppy?! He's definitely boy enough to wear pink, don't you think?

My New Chair!

Kaisyn got this cool chair from Grandma and Grandpa Sodja when he was born and is finally old enough to start using it. He's still a little wobbly, and tips over easy...but he is catching on and should be able to sit up in it soon. He was so excited the first time I put him in it, he started squealing and squealed every time I spun the little toy on it. It was really cute!
