Kaisyn's 1st Tailgating Experience

We decided it would be fun to tailgate before the Utah - Weber State football game. We've never tailgated before, but it turned out really fun...and the Utes won! Go Utes!!!

Kaisyn's Yellowstone Vacation

Kaisyn did great on vacation, despite being in his car seat A LOT. He was so happy most of the time, which we were all thankful for. It would have been a lot less fun to have a screaming baby in the car. Here are some pictures from various locations during our trip. As you can see, he experienced most of the vacation in his car seat...he didn't seem to mind though.

Happy Boy!

Kaisyn has finally gotten used to his car seat. He hated it at first and would always cry in it. But now, he is completely content and rarely cries in it unless he is hungry or has a messy diaper. I think that he has had to sit in it so much while I play basketball, or while we play soccer that he has just accepted the fact that he has to be in it...I'm so thankful because he used to get so mad.

1st Solids

We decided to try to give Kaisyn some rice cereal to see if he was ready for solids yet, and he really didn't love it. He ate it a little bit, but mainly just pulled faces at it. He did love playing with his bib though. I think I'll wait a few weeks before I try again...I don't think he is quite ready. I remember when we started Skylee on rice cereal, you couldn't feed it to her fast enough...she loved the stuff.

1st Utah Football Game

We went to the Utah home opener yesterday (they won...yay!), which was Kaisyn's first football game. I was a little nervous that all the noise would scare him, but he did great! He was so happy and just watched everything that was going on, and when he got tired, he just fell asleep. I'm so thankful that he is such an easy going baby so that we can enjoy fun activities like football games as a family.

Play Time

Now that Kaisyn can hold his head up pretty well, I pulled the ole exer-saucer out to see if he liked it, and he absolutely loves it. He gets so excited when he is in it, and trys to reach and grab everything on it. He also loves pushing off with his legs while he is in it, which is good...he needs to strengthen them so he can learn to hold all of his weight. I love watching him think and learn while he is playing in it.

Little Thumb Sucker

Kaisyn has turned into quite the little thumb sucker. We don't like it and usually try to pull it out of his mouth, but I can't watch him every second so sometimes this happens. He looks so content though :)
