Just Playin

One good thing about Kaisyn is that he LOVES to play with his toys. I can put him down with a bunch of toys and he will usually play for a while, which is nice when I need to get things done.

10 Months Old

How in the world has it been 10 Months since Kaisyn was born already? I can't believe that my baby boy really isn't a baby anymore...he is a little boy now. He finally figured out that crawling is WAY mor effective than army crawling, and he is so FAST now. He does not sit still anymore...if he is on the ground, he is on the move. And let me tell you...he is into EVERYTHING. I seriously can't keep up with him, especially if Skylee is around! He is seriously so much fun though...and SO happy. Always giggling at something or laughing at his big sister. He is starting to pull himself up onto his knees now, so I'm sure that he will be able to pull himself up to stand soon. I don't even want to think about him walking yet...I'm still adjusting to the crawling. Kaisyn is also a VERY good eater...I swear that he eats more than Skylee at most meals. He will eat pretty much anything, and as long as you keep giving it to him he will keep shoveling it in...literally. I really can't believe how fast he is growing and changing. He learns something new and does new things everyday, which is so fun. He loves chasing his big sister, and they love to play together. They get each other laughing so hard sometimes...It's very cute. I'm glad he loves her because she seriously doesn't leave him alone...EVER! Anyway, Kaisyn is my little buddy and he can always make me smile. I don't know what I ever did without him ( or Skylee ). They are the loves of my life! Oh...and there are still no teeth in that mouth of his. They are really taking their time coming in. I'm a little worried that they are all going to come in at the same time!

My Little Crawler!

Kaisyn finally figured out how to crawl (instead of the army crawl) and now he is everywhere, and into everything within reach. And he gets faster every day!! When I put him down in the kitchen, he loves to crawl over to the chairs and hang over the bar on the bottom. I don't know why but he just sits there like that and he thinks it is hilarious. He loves crawling now and he thinks he is so big...he makes me laugh, and he looks so cute. He still army crawls too if he needs to get somewhere quick...he's still not quite as fast on his knees, but he's getting there. He's always on the move though. The last picture is video of him crawling, and army crawling.

Slightly flexible!

I put Kaisyn down to take a nap this morning and I could hear him playing in his crib, and once it got quiet I turned on the video monitor and this is what I found...yes he is sleeping, and yes his head is on the matress. Looks comfy doesn't it? I did lay him down flat after I took this picture though.

9 Months Old

Kaisyn is 9 months old now, and getting more mobile every day. He can't quite crawl yet, but he is getting good at an army crawl - scoot combo that gets him wherever he needs to go. I think he's going to crawl anyday though...he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, but just hasn't figured it out yet. He's eating more and more solid foods, and hasn't found anything he doesn't like yet. He LOVES anything I give him. We took him to his 9 month Dr. visit this week and we weighed 20 1/2 pounds and was 30 inches long. To compare to Skylee when she was 9 months old, she only weighed 16 1/2 pounds and was only 28 inches long. The Dr. also said that he had 2 full-blown ear infections, which I had no idea about. He hadn't acted fussy at all. He must be a tough little guy and have a hight thresh hold for pain because the even pricked his toe and he didn't cry...he just wanted to see what they were doing to him. What a mellow kid...which I am VERY thankful for. I can't believe how big he is getting...he is really starting to look like a little boy now, and is wearing size 12-18 month clothes already. Kaisyn really is my little buddy...he loves giving me hugs and big slobbery kisses. I wish he would stay snuggly forever!

Kaisyn Partied Too!

Kaisyn seemed to have fun at Skylee's birthday party too, even though he was too little for most of the activities. He's very easily entertained so that helps!

Little Book Worm

Kaisyn loves to sit in his hight chair and play, and the other day I looked over at him and it seriously looked like he was reading. It was really cute. Maybe he will be a book worm like his big sis.
